Just sent a test email to my PN mailbox = it actually arrived as I could log in to webmail ,then allowed the download to Thunderbird. I presume I haven't been moved over yet.

I have found no email to say it has, just one months ago to a mailbox I hardly use saying it will happen.
My default user mailbox is a spam black hole so I'd never see notifications there.

Email seems now to be able to be received again from my Thunderbird client.
For the last week or so, emails got sent and showed in the Sent Items folder, but were not received by the addressees.
Webmail also wasn't working for a while. Then Webmail started working again, but not Thunderbird. As of this morning however, (I've been testing every day, sending to another email account I've got), emails sent from Thunderbird are arriving.
I haven't at any point chnged any Thunderbibrd settings, so the problem can't have been with me.

Last month after the move to Greenby it resent emails going back to December 2025. Today received duplicated emails going back to the end of January.
I assume it is free for 2 years because part of our subscription is paying for the service. If people switch email provider within the next 2 years they will continue to pay for a service they do not use?

I haven't recieved any notifications since the original email from Plusnet. But every day I get a large amount of spam, as if previous Plunet spam filters have been switched off. How do I check to see when my account will be transferred?

Same thing happening here with the spam, for the last couple of days. I think we are supposed to get an email notification when the transfer to Greenby is complete.

Same SPAM emails every day despite tweaking settings.
Nothing from Greenby, perhaps that's the only email being blocked?

I was moved in December. Their spam filters lost me over 30 emails and I managed to get them to switch it off. I do get some dubious and malicious emails but not floods of them.

Happy days indeed. I have used my Plusnet address for over 20 years and I would need to change a lot of accounts , friends and groups. It would be a lot of work and messy. I do have other email accounts but I am reluctant to move totally.
My biggest nuisance is the outlook/hotmail problem along with sporadic slow email delivery. I was surprised to learn from the support at Greenby that a BT network IP had been blacklisted which was why hotmail/outlook fails.
Does anyone understand what the deeper problem is ?

As far as I'm aware ,I've changed all my email contacts away from PN now. Hadn't had anything in this mailbox (other than my test emails) for several months. HOWEVER, yesterday I had two spam emails ,ostensibly from Adobe .
Still haven't anything from either Greenby or PN since 7th January.re the switch over.

I was migrated during December and I am able to at least see incoming emails. Trouble is I also see loads of obvious spam (like almost everyone else here) which any decent filter should block. I got very little before this migration started but since then it's been ridiculous.
Connecting to my email via phone works ok but I'm simply unable to send despite checking all the connection parameters I should be using are correct with the little help that Greenby have on their site. Even using their web client from a PC doesn't work - the emails show as sent but never actually go anywhere, another issue reported here.
I'm in the fortunate position of having mostly migrated my email to another provider, a task which it has taken me the best part of 18 months to do. I knew I was leaving Plusnet when my latest contract for my 20+ year use of Plusnet ran out in January so I got migrated by chance before the contract ended.
So that said I'm glad I left! While I've found the overall service and support good over most of my long time with Plusnet, this whole email debacle just shouts Plusnet wanting to ditch their email provision as cheaply as possible granted a majority of newer customers will be using the big providers. I do feel for anyone stuck in this who actually need email to work properly, I was just lucky I had time to prepare beforehand for unrelated reasons.

I'm now back in the scenario - for the past couple of days - where emails I send from Webmail arrive OK at the addressee, but emails sent from Thunderbird show as sent, but do not arrive. I've been a Plusnet customer since they were Force9, in 1997. I;ve not yet been notified that I'm transitioned to Greenby. This whole thing is inconvenient and disappointing.
All the online organisations I deal with have my Plusnet email address, and I don't want to have to go in and changre them all. And I find it much easier and more convenient to use Thunderbird email client rather then webmail. I have not changed any settings in Thunderbird.
It's just very frustrating, especially having been a loyal customer for 29 years.

Today I can't connect to Plusnet email at all, either on webmail or Thunderbird on my laptop, or webmail on my phone. THis is a very poor show, after being with Force9/Plusnet for 29 years.

@DavidB Likewise - says I have no mailboxes and then an error popup 'if this persists contact support' - pointless, as I'm guessing they are scrambling to rescue the system and the bot won't know anything.
its so sad as I was hoping this would tide me over the period that I migrate away from PN and maybe even keep it if it was good.
