Re: Unable to access webmail - database error

This really is ridiculous. Messages do eventually get through (I hope) but even with Thunderbird it's pathetic. The last time Plusnet's email service went a over t I shifted my important stuff (banks etc.) to gmail. I am now trying to shift everything else as fast as I can. I am not prepared to put up with this carry on any longer. The next inevitable move is shift my broadband when my contract permits - being out of plusnet's email will mean I am no longer loath to move because of inconvenience sake. They really have shot themselves in the foot.

@JamesE

This thread is about generic webmail data base errors.

You are using Thunderbird (something entirely different) but do not detail the issue which is essential to render assistance.  You would do better for yourself by starting a new topic appropriate to your clearly articulated issue.

Re: Unable to access webmail - database error

I am talking about the slow,slow,slow happening of the email service. Webmail takes ages, the little rotating thing going round and round, both to access the inbox and then to look at a particular mail. Thunderbird takes ages (only with Plusnet, gmail is perfect) sometimes coming up with a message that Plusnet's mail server is off. Just to confound me it might be back more or less working - I just switched on my mobile phone (Samsung) and the emails suddenly appeared.

I spoke too soon - webmail is not working. What a shambles.

Re: Unable to access webmail - database error

It does seem to have intermittent stumbles, but appears to be working - just try a page refresh.
