What's wrong with it? AFAIK it is an updated version of the same RoundCube webmail client as used by the PN webmail.

Re: Total Greenby foul-up

For me, @pvmb , it is slow to open/populate, but in any case, or as long as I can remember, I have used a proper mail client, as I prefer the look and feel.

If you prefer webmail, that is up to you, but I dislike it.

Re: Total Greenby foul-up

Further observation, for what it is worth: The refusal to connect behaviour is affecting random mailboxes, but only on the initial attempt first thing in a morning, and does appear to sort itself after a while - although I get the request to 'enter the password for account "xxxx@xxx.plus.com" three or four times, which I immediately cancel.

Re: Total Greenby foul-up

I'm not suffering the initial connectivity issues over our VM RFoG connection,
but I do see a strangeness in a : Trace Route to mail.plus.net

( mail.plus.net and imap.plus.net and pop3.plus.net all resolved to 91.208.204.26 )

Below is my trace route, notice at hop 16 the IP 91.204.208.26 is reached
but trace route does not display the host name and does not stop.

Re: Total Greenby foul-up

Plusnet have stabbed me in the back, they assured my emails would be safe with Greenby but they are not. I have lost a very important part, SAVED MAIL. As emails have now overtaken letters, my saved mail contained all warranties, home insurance contents info plus loads more, now all gone. I can't contact Greenby because they only accept emails, but my new mail provider won't let me send an email to them. I contacted Plusnet but all they said was sorry.  So after almost 20 years with Plusnet I am looking for another broadband provider, can anyone please advise me of the best one.  At 79, disabled with a terminal disease, I shouldn't have this problem now.  Thank you.

@bodgerbeever

I can't contact Greenby because they only accept emails, but my new mail provider won't let me send an email to them.

You should be able to contact them by looging into the Greenby portal and selecting 'Tickets' then raise a new ticket using the 'New ticket' link.

I have lost a very important part, SAVED MAIL

Where was your email saved ? did you create additional folders and were they local folders or on the mail server ?

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
