Spam e-mails from Plusnet

Why, more than thirty hours on, are Plusnet continuing to spam their own customers?
Twelve e-mails per hour, every hour, claiming incorrectly that peak time usage has greatly exceeded the limit, arriving throughout that period. A 'question' raised received the reply that this was 'a system wide error', in which case why is it not reflected in 'service status'?
A further comment was 'please get back to us if this is still happening after the next 72 hours'. Frankly, I don't appreciate waiting until 80 hours after the start and the consequent 960 spam e-mails.

Re: Spam e-mails from Plusnet

Hi there,
We're very sorry about that. The issue was not affecting a large number of customers which is why no service status message was issued, however we do understand the inconvenience and are continuing to investigate the cause of the issue. In your case your usage was reset last night, so no further emails should be coming through. We'll update and let you know as soon as we have any more information.

Thanks for that. If it's any help, the last e-mails were timed at 0150 8 July.
