Setting up POP email on Outlook 365

I am having no luck setting up Outlook 365. I get a lot of emails so want to use POP.

I think the problem is that there is nowhere to enter Username in Outlook 365.  I will show the steps I use and hopefully someone will tell me where I've gone wrong.

Start here, click New...

Click on "Connect" and wait a bit.

Select POP

Then using the info on https://www.plus.net/help/email-guides/how-to-set-up-plusnet-email/

I have tried incoming port 110 and outgoing port 25 and other security options too.

Enter the password that works in webmail

Click on Connect

Wait a bit then

So, what am I doing wrong?

@Dave-m

Try enabling SSL/TLS on the incoming mail port.

Re: Setting up POP email on Outlook 365

also you might need to click the 'not you' and change the username in the POP settings

It should be just <accountname> for the primary mailbox or  <accountname>+<mailboxname> for secondary mailboxes

Re: Setting up POP email on Outlook 365

Thank you for your answer, however clicking 'not you' goes back to the 'Email address' box.  If you don't enter something it thinks is valid, the 'Connect' button is greyed-out.  I have tried <accountname>@plus.net which is accepted here but fails as before.

There must be a way to enter <accountname> somewhere!

Re: Setting up POP email on Outlook 365

Thank you for your answer.

I tried this

which was followed by this

which allowed me to edit the Username.

This ended with a different error

Re: Setting up POP email on Outlook 365

Fix
Try starting from Windows Control Panel->Mail as that gives different options (including username).
