I filled in the required form to opt out of the email transfer but have now realised that I still need the email address.
Is there anyway I can have this reversed please ?
Thank you

I did the same - I am confused: the email says
"This service will be free of charge for the first 30 days, if you wish to continue thereafter there will be a charge of £15.00 a year inc VAT."
and then I find there's more conversation about this, and it turns out its free for 2 years? Or is it? I have plusnet broadband (hence the email) so what is going on with this?

@Bolly If you are a Plusnet customer at transfer and remain one, my understanding is that, currently, the service is free for two years. If you leave after the transfer, you can keep the email account, but will then have to pay the £15.00 p.a. charge to retain it.
What happens after the two 'free' years is up has not, AFAIK, been discussed/advised.

They could have said that in the email they sent me!
At the time, that was the first and only hint that anything was changing. If I wasn't bored and surfing the web and looked up forum posts about it, I would never have known there was a 2 year thing.

I think it was @Townman who clarified in another thread fairly recently that providing a customer doesn't leave before the transfer, the account will remain free for the first two years even if the customer leaves PN after the transfer.

Thanks, @RobPN . As I read a lot of stuff on here, I don't remember it all.

There's the simple case and then a multitude of complex cases...
- Simple case - broadband and email are on the same account - is that your situation
- Complex case - broadband and email are on different accounts - arising from brand merges, moving broadband service account whilst keeping email or needing an account 'repair' due to whatever
Great effort has been made to tie 'orphaned' email accounts to existing broadband service contracts, but that is not a perfect science. Some folks will have moved, changed contact details etc on their broadband accounts ... those on their email accounts being left as they were when set up.
Which band email are you using?
Contact support to raise a request to review the status of your email service migration.
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Should be simple case, but I have been with you guys since... 2002 or so.
1 account, with original Plusnet, forever.
AFAIK its all the same thing, but you never know how things are back at Plusnet HQ after so long and upgrades from ADSL to fibre, removing landline and god knows what else along the way.
