I’ve added username and password to the SMTP settings and it seems to have done the trick.
Two test emails have sent without a hitch from my ON account on the Mail app on my iPhone via a BT router and arrived instantly, one at my PN address and one at a Gmail account.
I think you should now take a holiday (on condition you’re available when I do something else daft
