Emails & Folder lost

Looking for answers and solutions. I logged into my webmail to find a folder and over 3000 emails wiped. I’ve looked at managing folders and nothing is there and nothing in my junk, deleted or archived folders. I had no notifications that my emails would be gone. Is there a way I can get them back as the folder including important work.

@RobertG1 Which 'brand' of the Plusnet family are your emails linked to?

OK, thats one thought shot down. However, 3000 emails suggests a fairly full mail account. Are you sure you have had no capacity warnings? Do you use webmail exclusively, or do you have a mail client?

Re: Emails & Folder lost

If my mailbox was at max capacity, does plusnet automatically delete content? I use plusnet webmail exclusively. I just want to know how I can get the emails and especially a folder back.

I'm not an expert on webmail behaviour, but if you have had no capacity warnings, something has gone wrong somewhere. I'll tag someone who might have a better idea.

Re: Emails & Folder lost

Which brand?

Have you been receiving usage warnings and not acted on them?  Are you monitoring your contact email address?

The fair usage policy monitoring sends emails when over 75% usage.  At 100% usage there are two warnings at week intervals before archiving happens.

Look at your ticket history (see the link below) to see if there’s any evidence of your email usage being “on report” or being archived!  See the link below.

Re: Emails & Folder lost

I can see that plusnet have taken action and archived 3 different things on my account at the end of last month. How do I go about getting them back now? I’ve only got 50 emails in my inbox which means I’ve got space.

Raise request on the archive restore thread.
