FYI (if it helps).
The odd/occassional bounces I've been experiencing have referenced more than one server.
It looks more like a configuration 'feature' to me. I could be wrong.

There were twenty known Plusnet email servers when I last looked -

That 20 would include POP3, SMTP and spam filleting services?
I can see 8 for POP3.
I can see 2 for SMTP.
The bounces don't come from any of those as far as I see. Avast!
