Tried diagnostic with email address and account name unsuccessfully on POP3.

This is odd / incomprehensible!
For no apparent reason Outlook is now working with POP3, using the account name as the user credential, on port 995 using TLS/SSL?
The diagnostic using POP3s and the account name fails?
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links

That suggests either you had finger troubles with all of your previous attempts ... or someone fixed something somewhere!
No one could have gotten something wrong so consistently ... will see if I can find out what got fixed next week!

I rather think that the issues are arising from the new server proxy!
Support are on the case!

What have support done, I still get:-
Task 'blah - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC92)
: 'Your email server rejected your login.
Verify your user name and password for this account in Account Settings.
The server responded: -ERR Login failed.'
on both my secondary plusnet accounts but not the primary?!

Hi Stuart,
You do not specify brand, protocol or authentication method which are essential 'ingredients' to profiling issues.
There is an outstanding issue related to...
- Free-online
- POP3
- Secondary email address used for authentication
The above combination fails. Changing the authentication details to account+mailbox allows successfully logon.
If your issue does not match that profile, then there is the potential of you having the same issue as @redsox9 ... which @plusnettony was investigating.

Try this. Let's say the secondary mailbox email address is june@moon.plus.com. If you get the prompt to put in your user name and password, type moon+june for the user and see what happens.

1) part of my package I have been with you here for 8 years,
2) Pop3
3) Outlook 2021, win10,
4) not sure i should be putting my email on here?
5) What's changed is it server side or client side?

I'm seeing a similar (I think) issue in Outlook which just started today.
Sending Error is 0x800CCC0F "The connection to the Server was Interrupted".
It then pops up a login box which won't approve.
I have an email waiting to be sent out from Outlook.
I also have the same 0x800CC92 error a few times today, but I think I am still getting email inwards OK.
Brand is Force9.
Server relay.force9.net
Secondary email address.
Username format= account+mailbox
Collecting emails via IMAP
Reading this thread, I've tried changing the Username from account+mailbox format to email address format, but that didn't help. (Note: I've been using email address in mailbox@account.f9.co.uk format, rather than mailbox@account.force9.net format as I have done for many years as force9.net version was gathering too many spams, so was set to filter more harshly in the f9 control panel).
My immediate thought was that the migration was possibly under way? But I guess not if others have had the same issue.

And now (as if by magic) it has sorted itself again!
I had only tried the email address as username briefly, but when that didn't work either, I had switched it back to account+mailbox format, but it still wasn't working. However, account+mailbox it is working again today... only thing that changed was waiting! Not sure if it was just a transient fault? or someone fixed something?

Can I also add that I have been unable to sign into my plusnet emails using (new)Outlook since 8th September, since going over to Greenby servers?

Are you sure you are with Greenby? If Greenby has not sent you a welcome email you are still with PlusNet which has had network problems allegedly not associated with the migration.
