Nobody accepting responsibility for email problems

Just one of four current email address has exhibited problems in that over recent months it has on 4 or 5 occasions suddenly re-downloaded every message still within the server's retention period. It is not occurring with webmail, can send & receive OK and has exactly the same settings as other addresses set up in the client. Strongly suspect this to be a change/reset of the POP3 UIDLs.  No addresses have been or are in process of going over to Greenby.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Have rung support with this persistent email query but apparently PlusNet no longer have the staff to resolve this clearly server-side issue. Told to just, essentially, "cross our fingers" and hope for a resolution. At the same time, am getting messages asking that I renew the contract - with two years free use of emails addresses apparently - but how can I if there is no support in place? Can see that tickets have been raised for similar things in the past but not possible now, apparently.

Re: Nobody accepting responsibility for email problems

We saw a few POP3 UIDL resets & re-downloads of the server contents just after migration to Greenby.

Re: Nobody accepting responsibility for email problems

Thanks. Sounds quite optimistic that things could be reset then.
