New PC built - saved emails old SSD. Can't remember webmail login details like Plusnet server d

Hi.

I've had a new pc built yesterday and I'd saved all my emails from Plusnet webmail on my old SSD.

Can someone please kindly enlighten me with the Plusnet server details for Pop3 so that I can set things up on my new pc to download my latest emails under the Pop3 protocol.

My email address ends in @happy37.plus.com

Was it name mandeep+happy37 as the username or happy37+mandeep? Can't remember.

Can someone please help me fix this.

Many thanks in advance. Mandeep

SSL/TLS for incoming and SPA? And what about outgoing? Port 110? 25? 995 or 587. I think I had all this saved somewhere. Can't remember now. Arghhh.

Thanks Townman. Much appreciated. I'm on the pop account settings page. Stuck on settings. mail.plus.net? Port 110? Incoming? 25 outgoing?

Or smtp.plus.net or relay.plus.net - outgoing? Which port? Please very kindly enlighten me.

Many thanks. Mandeep

I've looked at the page info. I get "we couldn't connect to the incoming pop server". The connection timed out.

Following the link in the How to get your mail using a PC client delivers this - https://www.plus.net/help/email-guides/how-to-set-up-plusnet-email/ which I think answers all of the questions. Correct ports for encrypted connections. You do not need SPA.

I unticked the SPA settings. Account now added. But the emails are still sitting in my webmail account when I log in. I want to download them all to my outlook like I used to before and then the mailbox would be empty. Which settings do I need to change please? Thanks.

Re: New PC built - saved emails old SSD. Can't remember webmail login details like Plusnet server d

Fix
Googled this one. I highlighted the pst file in outlook. Clicked change. And then the option to "leave messages on the server" came up. I unticked this and the emails are now all working properly. Thank you Townman and all who replied.

I will make a note of the server settings by bookmarking the page. Much appreciated again. Smiley
