Migration: Aliases and Catchall questions

Hi

Just had the migration email and would appreciate confirmation of my understanding of the requirement for alias creation etc.

I have a handful of mailboxes for family members using the login of [email protected], which I’m assuming will transfer fine.

My ‘main’ mailbox appears to be called [email protected], but I send from [email protected], logging in as account, and this currently works fine. This is where I think I need to set up an alias to continue to allow emails to be sent?

Finally I have catchall ON, so there are a number of other [email protected] addresses that all drop into my main mailbox. I do not generally send from these addresses, only receive. Again I believe these will continue to be received after the migration.

Thanks in advance
G

To send from [email protected] , myname needs to be defined as either a mailbox or an alias

Re: Migration: Aliases and Catchall questions

Usernames of the arcane format :  <account>+<mailbox>
need to become the email address format  : [email protected]

Making the change now on all devices will avoid a glitch on migration to Greenby.
