Mailbox admin in PN account after migration

I was migrated to Greenby late last year. Shortly after that, I updated my PN account's email address so that billing would go to another email address.

I haven't logged in to Greenby webmail and likely will not need it.

I notice all the old email settings appear functional in the PN broadband account pages and PN are till sending account mail to postmaster@. Do changes made there reconfigure the mailhosting with Greenby?

If a Plusnet account had an email facility, then notifications will go to both the current contact address on the account and postmaster@<account.plus.com>. AIUI This is irrespective of whether the account has been migrated or not.

As for changes to email settings, ICBW but my understanding was that the email settings in the Plusnet portal are disabled when the account is migrated to Greenby and that subsequent changes are made using the Greenby portal.

Are you sure your account has actually been migrated ?

Re: Mailbox admin in PN account after migration

@MisterW I received an email from Greenby 15/12/25 saying the migration had completed. I recently logged in to my PN broadband account, saw the mail config panel was still there, and I successfully (as far as the web interface feedback went) removed a mail alias.

I never checked if this was reflected in the webapp at Greenby. My login credentials appear to be accepted on the Greenby site, but I've not gone further as I don't plan on using the account. I should have declined the migration when asked.

UPDATE: I just checked back in to my PN account. Lo and behold the mail settings are now gone. I can only presume my logging in at Greenby triggered some action on my PN account?

Thanks for that piece of information. A bit surprised, but that would be my assumption as well. Useful to know...

Re: Mailbox admin in PN account after migration

The alias, I was recently able to delete in my PN account, existed on the Greenby side today. I've deleted it and disabled the catch-all and spam filtering. I also changed passwords for the sole mailbox and ftp account for good measure.
