Just logged on to Plusnet Squirrel mail to find I have, without warning, been transferred to Greenby:
Hey ********,
We're excited to welcome you to Greenby, the new home for your email service! The migration of your email has been successfully completed, and all of your existing messages, contacts, and settings are safely in place. With Greenby, you can continue to use your exisitng(sic) email address with the same login details.
If your Plusnet account included Domains, DNS, or Webspace, we've seamlessly migrated those too. You can now manage everything from your new Greenby dashboard.
What You Need to Do
You don't need to worry about setting anything up right now. Simply log in with your Plusnet email credentials at greenby.com to access your mailbox and continue using your email as usual.
Whatever happened to the "30 days notice" email? I was hoping to clean up my email boxes and back them up before the transfer by using the Squirrel mail Download function - just in case. Only mailboxes left here now are the Deleted Items, Junk and Inbox and I can no longer use the Squirrel Mail download function to download Inbox. Not a reassuring start!
Dare I log on to Greenby? 🤔
Fixed! Go to the fix.

...Oh dear!
It isn't working. The Greenby "Continue to Email" button isn't doing anything. Reporting this to them recommends I try logging in directly via https://webmail.greenby.com - The Roundcube Webmail site. But my login credentials aren't working.
OK. Sorted that, I need to use my full email address to log in. But, can only see Inbox after log in, Where are my (many) other folders? They seem to be 'hiding' under Settings/Folders.
This is going to take some getting used to! 😉

I use MS Outlook and I had to go through the process of 'subscribing' each of my folders in order to bring them out of hiding, as the migration seemed to have had the effect of unsubscribing them.

...Yes. Even in Webmail you need to individually 'Subscribe' moved inboxes (via Settings/Folders) before you can access and use them.
It does appear to be working, albeit the website is not very fast.

How come, after transfer of PN mail to Greenby, the old PN Squirrel mail remains working? It is still receiving mail into the Inbox and a couple of the formerly disappeared mailboxes I have 'Subscribed' to in Greenby have now reappeared in Squirrel mail!
I trust using the old interface won't cause any issues with the Greenby system?

Because webmail.plus.net is now actually hosted on the Greenby servers and is connected via the proxy. So it knows whether an account is migrated or not, and makes the connection to the correct server.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Might interest some... I see the new Greenby webmail interface does have download options available.
For individual email messages - Source (.eml)
For mailbox downloads - Mbox format (.zip); Maildir format (.zip)
