Issues with email migration to Greenby

I believe that my email has recently migrated to Greenby. I received an email to my "plusnet user" mailbox but have received no emails to my other email addresses.

I have been unable to log into my Greenby account because it is unclear which email address to use. Can anyone please help?

There is a 'junk' folder on each of my email accounts which has recently started being used - I assume that this is a result of the migration? Most of the emais in this box are not junk - is there a way to 'train' the junk fiter?

Before the migration I could set up new mail addresses from the plusnet account - I assume that this will now be done from my Greenby account?

I have forgotten the password for one of my email addresses - how do I retrieve this?

I am still using the plusnet SMTP and POP servers - will these need to be changed?

Sorry to ask so many questions but I am really baffled.

Harold

Re: Issues with email migration to Greenby

Fix

1) Greenby migration notifications only go to the main contact email address.

2) The Greenby Portal accepts the same credentials as are used for the Plusnet Members Centre

3) Junk / Spam email diversion is controlled from the Greenby Portal ( NOT via webmail )

Greenby Portal >>> email MANAGE >>> SETTINGS >>> Anti Spam  >>>  [ ON / OFF ]

I have turned Anti Spam OFF I have an MS Outlook Rule to deal with SPAM/SCAM emails.

4) Via the Greenby Portal emails can be Created / Deleted or Disabled.

5) Via the Greenby Portal the email password can be reset for any account.

6) SMTP & POP3 / IMAP servers should not need to be changed.

However the email Username should be the "email address of the mailbox"
not the old form of : "<account>+<name>" and I would avoid using an alias too.

Do ask more questions if you feel the need.

From the first screen of the Greenby Portal

"Recent Products" >>>
email < account name > MANAGE >>> SETTINGS >>> Anti Spam  >>>  [ ON / OFF ]

Re: Issues with email migration to Greenby

When I press Manage it does not then show Settings but It opens a new window - All emails-  and then only options are to open webmail or change password.  Try as I might I cannot find Settings option.

A general browser search says spam settings for Greenby email are through the webmail.  I see a settings option on the roundcube webmail dashboard but following your advice i am trying to find settings on my Greenby dashboard.  Thank you

Re: Issues with email migration to Greenby

Further update as I remember result of contacting Greenby about spam settings soon after migration.   I have 2 migrated addresses.   My old original and much used is metronet based with address in the form myname@metronet.co.uk.   Greenby told me spam settings could not be set for this form of address but they would be looking to make it possible.   Seeing the advice here I was assuming that it had been done but it appears not.

My other address is the one given when plusnet absorbed metronet.  It is in the form my initials@myname.plus.com.  The Greenby dashboard for this address does respond in the way the advice here suggests.  The Settings can be located

But Settings remain elusive for my metronet email. dashboard
