What do I need to do in Plusnet & Greenby to change my email password?

I use Thunderbird to download email onto my desktop and webmail to read them (but not download) on my tablet.

The accounts are in my name but my wife also has a Plusnet email account and I don't want to affect that.

As you mention Greenby I am assuming that your email has migrated to Greenby,

Managing the passwords depends on which email servers you are using.

If you are using email servers that are both hosted by Greenby ( e.g. for force9 )
changing the password in the Greenby portal will do the job.

However if your SMTP server is hosted by Plusnet ( e.g. relay.plus.net ) you will
also need to set the same password in the Plusnet Members Center.

I am using relay.plus.net for the SMTP but I can't see where to change my password in  https://www.plus.net/manage_my_mail/

Also where do I change the password in Greenby?

Seriously !

Plusnet : tab Mailboxes >>> edit

Greenby : email >>> right hand side 3 dots >>> Change password.

Greenby: OK I missed that.

Plusnet: the Summary tab shows three mail boxes, mine, my wife's and Postmaster. Mine and my wife's are type Mailbox and Postmaster is type alias (which looks the same as mine)

Clicking on Mailboxes only shows 2:-

mine, then in brackets (Catch All), and to the right (default) rename

And my wife's with to the right edit delete

There is no edit alongside mine.

If the Plusnet hosted SMTP server relay.plus.net  is replaced with Greenby SMTP server : mail.enmail.co

the POP3 / IMAP and SMTP passwords can be managed from the Greenby portal alone.
