right there at the bottom - this is because plusnet now route all their forum email via khoros-mail.com

This morning we have one email to a Microsoft destination and to an iCloud destination

Both have rejected.

This is hopeless.

Today I received a reply to my "complaint" - no progress, but at least someone at PlusNet seems to be looking at the issue:

The steps might start with shutting the door on the email platform being repeatedly used to send bulk spam.

Thanks for working on our behalf to sort this.

Well fingers crossed it seems to be working okay. I've sent a mail to few people using BCC and I haven't had a bounce as yet.

Is it due to individuals like me sending a mail to quite a few addresses? Or is it something going on "under the hood" as it were?

At this precise moment I'm relieved to have been able to send mail to some of our people. In the long term I can't see a future for us with Plusnet and I'm dreading having to move our website and email to somewhere else!

Thanks for sorting this out.

Looking at the mail headers, it looks like Plusnet are now sending via a different relay.

Previously hotmail and outlook were objecting to the addresses in the 212.159.14.xx range which Plusnet have been using for several years.

As of today, the mail headers show an address in the range 84.93.230.xx as the sender. Let's hope this doesn't get blacklisted too.

Afternoon, Just wanted to add to the list of users getting the Hotmail block list messages. I found a 'Mail delivery failed' message in my Greenby junk box which was sent on Sunday:

Tried to send a email several times today (Daughters address, no attachments etc just 'test') but still being returned by Mail delivery failure message as above.

Also I can't seem to 'un-junk' it on Greenby webmail or add to my whiltelist so that they download to my inbox and alert me.

Looks like I spoke too soon as well.

Earlier today Plusnet were relaying mail via avasout-ptp-004.plus.net. [84.93.230.250] and it was getting through to hotmail OK.

Now its back to avasout-peh-001.plus.net. [212.159.14.17] which is being blocked.

Looks like they are still working on it.
