Greenby webmail - deleting emails

Since my migration to Greenby, I notice that webmail (both greenby.com and plus.net) have added extra folders - an extra sent and an extra "deleted items" in addition to "trash".
Any deletions go to "deleted items". If they are deleted they go to "trash". If they are deleted they go to ... "deleted items". Which is all rather circular.
Via webmail (either url) is there any way of actually deleting an item?
As I said previously, I think this will be a classic small company is given large company workload and is completely swamped. I have raised tickets on Greenby but they are instantly handled by a bot and then nothing but "in progress" where I imagine they will stay until the end of time.

I have added this to the existing questions on folder migration.
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
