Greenby migration with multiple plusnet accounts

Hi, I have multiple plusnet accounts after a billing issue a while back. One of them is broadband, one is email only (@xxx.f9.co.uk). I have never used the email on the broadband account. The f9 account has been moved to Greenby two weeks ago, and it says I have one month for free, but I understand that current broadband customers are supposed to get two years, which I assume is automatically going to the email I don't use on the broadband account. Who do I need to contact to get it switched so that I have the two years on the f9 account instead of the other one?

Re: Greenby migration with multiple plusnet accounts

When was you last charged by Plusnet (or anyone) for the f9 account? That'd possibly be an e-mail only account?

(I think you've stated that).

Plusnet ceased charging for those e-mail only accounts more than five years ago (I could check my paper bank statements to give a more accurate estimate).

My opinion? You are stuck with what you've got.

(I have a broadband account with Plusnet. It doesn't come with e-mail. It never did. I think Plusnet withdrew e-mail from new customers after ceasing to charge "e-mail only" accounts. It can be a long game.)

I think you may be regarded as a single account, and allowed 2 years free. You need a Plusnet staffer or to contact Plusnet direct.

Certainly email associated with a current BB account is free.  Elsewhere efforts have been made to match details on orphaned email accounts to details on broadband accounts.  It’s not an exact science and nigh impossible if folks have moved house.

Re: Greenby migration with multiple plusnet accounts

Ideally if you could PM me please - I need both usernames. With this, I'll contact Greenby for you.

Please note though, I'm a little behind on my PM's (and forums in general) but will get to it as soon as I can.
