No joy using Outlook either... it is asking for username/password.....Nowt changed at my end

Greenby will probably only function satisfactorily when more users leave. They have been overwhelmed by the migrant deluge from Plusnet.

Yes, I've getting this problem. I've seen it very occasionally for a few weeks. Tonight it's happening. Unfortunately in Thunderbird there isn't any diagnostic error-code info that I can see: just a very long delay which ends with a dialog that asks whether I want to try with a different password.

I've never yet managed to get Greenby's webmail to recognise my username and password, with the username in the Plusnet form <username>+<mailbox> (eg bloggs+fred for an email address fred@bloggs.plus.com). This is despite getting a Welcome to Greenby email in mid-December. But webmail.plus.net still works, so either I'm not really migrated or else PN's webmail site is designed still to work, even though it now accesses Greenby's email server.

Who knows. The migration process seems to be a lot of myth-and-rumour and different people tell different stories. Not PN's (or Greenby's) finest hour 😞

Ah, different email clients get different results. Thunderbird on Windows 10 (using POP) is still failing to connect to the server and download new messages, but the Samsung email client on my Android phone (also using POP) has downloaded them fine. Weird.

Webmail is giving 

DATABASE ERROR!

Unable to connect to the database!

And Samsung client on Android is getting logon errors. I wonder if the messages that it is displaying were downloaded before Greenby went [-Censored-]-up: the latest that I've received was sent at 21:42 and I think I first tried Thunderbird about 22:30 (when I got the dreaded time-out).

I think I've logged a call which will get a response when the help desk is staffed again.

Except that the email notification of that last post has gone into my Junk folder.... all the others are happily in my Inbox.. 😞

Can someone help me please? Totalise email address. Stopped working last week (along with many others on this forum) but was back within a few hours. Now it’s stopped again. The last email I received was at around 5 pm yesterday. I know I have been sent emails this morning but nothing has arrived. No error message when I refresh my inbox. Just seems to be dead! I have sent myself a couple of test emails and they appear in my “sent“ box but nothing is coming into my inbox. Again, no error messages. It’s exactly the same on the web and on my phone. I really can’t function like this, it is affecting my work…

i think it may have failed again, either sending or receiving  - an emsilmi sent to myself to transfer a link frommphone to tablet has never arrived alyhougn no sending or receiving errors.
