Greenby - Not positive vibes.

Claiming that the migration of emails to Greenby is in my best interest*, when it clearly serves to offload Plusnet and BT's responsibilities, is a typical tactic of these companies.

Upon reviewing the Greenby terms, I feel uneasy about their professionalism. The frequent splitting of words across two lines gives the document an unpolished appearance. Additionally, their requirement that formal complaints be submitted via traditional mail** indicates a lack of commitment to customer support once issues arise. This is a common tactic employed by large corporations, but it is particularly frustrating coming from an email provider.

*"To ensure you can continue to receive a reliable and secure Plusnet email service, we’ve taken the decision to transfer the running of our email to the provider Greenby who will manage the service going forward."

Re: Greenby - Not positive vibes.

Out of curiosity I've just spent a few minutes driving along Barnes Wallis Road in Google Maps, and I can't actually find their office - I assume it is a room inside some serviced building (in a way that's reassuring, some "businesses" I've looked up appear to be run from a house on a council estate or similar).

I did find Enix Ltd's office on Parkway in Whitely though - that looks to be in serviced offices. Google Maps has some reviews for them - not good at all 😞

I'm glad I run my own mail server!

Very strange , their trustpilot reviews for the various brands are very good https://enixltd.com/

Then again there are only 6 reviews on the google site and they relate to enix directly AFAICS. I would have thought people would be reviewing the brand providing the service rather than the holding company ?

I've had email hosting with one of their brands (Ecohosting) in the past and the service and support was excellent.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Re: Greenby - Not positive vibes.

Looking at their Accounts on Companies House they're a pretty tiny outfit. There's a spate of recent 1star reviews on Brixly which they've recently taken over. So keep fingers crossed.
