GREENBY MIGRATION Cant log in to their website

Hi I received the Greenby welcome email on 24 March at 1742, which was sent` to me confirming that migration of all my email, contacts etc etc had happened successfully.

I am currently still using everything i used to as its still happening perfectly on my phone and laptop etc.

However, today as i had set aside an hours quiet time i thought i would try and log into the Greenby system and check out their services as suggested in the email.

I have just tried to do this and their Login page will not accept my normal email login (my normal globalnet.co.uk email address) and my normal password. After several attempts i followed their instructions to request a login code by email and/or text to receive my correct details?? (Nothing wrong in my opinion with the ones i had?)

I received nothing by email or text....I then followed their instruction if neither of these were received by email or text. Namely ring +03301239123 and ask Plusnet to give me a code to access Greenbys log in. Unfortunately i just get an announcement saying it has not been possible to connect your call....please try later. I have been trying and only get the message again.

Can anyone advise what i do?

I am more than happy to be with Greenby BUT at the moment everything is working great as it used to so I am a bit worried about trying to transfer over to Greenby if its all going to be a muddle.

Any response greatly received. If i get a response then i will pick it up as soon as i can , which may be later today or even tomorrow.

Thanks all neil

I login at Greenby.com  using the same credentials as are used for the Plusnet Members Centre.

Re: GREENBY MIGRATION Cant log in to their website

@nclark777 do you have a Plusnet broadband account with email as well as the globalnet email ?

I suspect the email you received was in respect of your Plusnet account email being migrated. You can confirm this as @PhilipHeyes says by logging into the Greenby portal with your PLusnet account details.

AFAIK no globalnet email accounts have been migrated yet (confirmed since mail.globalnet.co.uk doesnt point to the proxy!)

Re: GREENBY MIGRATION Cant log in to their website

Hi

Thanks for that info.

I did wonder about that!

Yes. the welcome to Greenby email was sent to my plusnet email address (which is the one that they use to send me my monthly bills and also if they send any stuff related to my broad boand services.

In the 'cc' field was my normal globalnet email address which is where i picked it up from.

Tomorrow ill give give the email address they used in the 'To' field in the welcome email.

Ill do that tomorrow and let you know how its goes.

Thanks for the two messages (yourself and Mister W/) sent to me in response to my forum post.

Much appreciated guys.

Cheers Neil

Re: GREENBY MIGRATION Cant log in to their website

Hi All

Just letting you know how things are re the above.

As suggested by you guys i logged into Greenby this morning using the method you spoke about.

No problem it went straight in.

I see nothing in there with regards my emails with regards my globalnet email account?

When I click on the Greenby Email button it comes up with two headings the first one is All Mailboxes and is small box in blue font is annotated '1 Alias'. it states 289KB of 'Unlimited' has been used.If I click on View Webmail for this it takes me to webmail showing all me monthly bills, welcome email from Greenby etc and admin stuff related to my broadband package etc.

The next heading is Email Domains under this it has a small box in blue font annotated 1 Mailbox. it states that 289KB of 2GB is used in this mailbox?Huh

I have no idea where any of my globalnet webmail stuff is.

Not sure if should be contacting Greenby through their Support button on their home page? Appreciate any advice. But not being a techie im not sure if im doing something wrong OR if its a probalm with all the Gobalnet email users?

Just to confirm, Global addresses/webspace haven't transferred so you'd use those services as you always did.

Re: GREENBY MIGRATION Cant log in to their website

HI Thanks for your note.

Apologies, I wasnt really aware of that. I'm only reading the blurb that was sent out in September last year re Greenby. Once i had their welcome email i thought things would just move ahead.

I am conscious though that Globalnet email was probably always going to be a problem?

Does that mean they will never transfer over?

Thanks for yours, and others, help.

Is there anyway i can keep in the loop with this sort of stuff?  Either on PlusNet or Greenby....or both :-).

Cheers

 Neil

Re: GREENBY MIGRATION Cant log in to their website

Fix

@nclark777

Globalnet accounts should transfer over at some point.

When that does happen you will get an email to the globalnet email address.
