Re: Emails to one recipient no longer working

"Plusnet don't transfer the hosting, you transfer that by making DNS changes!. "

Okay.

"Who actually owns the domain , you or your friend ?"

He does.

"So , do you have access to the Easyspace control panel for the domain ?"

Lord no. Otherwise I'd have known all about Easyspace. I had to dredge through 26 year old emails to recall how the domain came into existence. I've never had any involvement at all. That's why I appear so plumb ignorant about these matters and need the help of you good folk.

He does.

Oh dear! that complicates matters.

I suggest you contact your friend and explain what you wish to do i.e move your email hosting to Mythic Beasts and he should be able to assist. Since he's an Easyspace reseller he should understand the processes intimately and have access to the Easyspace control panel fro the domain.

As it stands at the moment, Plusnet will not be able to complete the registration transfer since they are NOT the current registrar! they are probably going to get very confused by the request.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

All done, ownership passed to me, and registration to MB.

Actually NetOps seemed to understand; so now I'm just waiting for a day or two before updating the DNS settings on MB.

Thanks again for the recommendation ... they seem rather good.
