Emails & webmail stopped working?

Since last night my phone is asking for the password to log in to emails, when I enter it it says server unavailable.

Tried logging into webmail online - I can log in but it also states server error and I get no emails at all in the user interface?

Outlook also has a server issue and cannot login on my PC.

Task '<removed>.plus.com - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

Any ideas anyone?

Plusnet 'WAS' a really good email host - tine to transfer yet again 😠

My views was that Plusnet was a truly awful email host that has still not secured its SMTP server after over 25 year of operating and has in the recent year allowed so many spam / scam sending events that most of the email servers that send emails are blocked by Microsoft & iCloud.

Looking at the other thread (mythic beasts) etc what is the way forward do you think?

I got myself a Mythic Beats email+web package a couple of months ago.  I highly recommend their service.  Especially as their support is provided by humans.  Humans that read your email and respond to what you have written.

What level did you buy?

I have no need of web hosting (I have a provider for that and another email already) is the free one worth having?

I get about 20-50 emails a day normally - rarely with any attachments though.
