Mine's working OK again now too. Been able to mark several as Spam, which was all I was wanting to do.

Plusnet user since November 2003
Full Fibre since September 2023
Mac OS and Firefox user with latest versions of both

Emails did work again, for a short while, but unable to sync again now!

My confidence was too hasty after it started working again last night. I now see F9 Webmail is still not fixed.  If I try to send some spam to Junk I get a fail message:

Server Error:  UID MOVE: Mailbox doesn't exist: INBOX.Spam (0.002 + 0.000 + 0.001 secs). "

 

Meanwhile, only one of my two email user accounts has moved, when will the second one be migrated?  Will I lose access to that one for some time, as I did with the first.

Can we hear from somebody in Plusnet explaining what is going on and how long it will take to fix it please?  In my experience customers will put up with all sort of stuff if they are kept informed but confidence (and brand loyalty) is easily lost in a vacuum.

The problem you've reported is no something I've seen. If it's still happening, I will do some testing later.

 

We can't say with certainty as yet when any other account will be migrated, but we'll send communication as appropriate to let you know when we're ready.

 

You shouldn't lose access for any period of time during migration.

@plusnettony Thanks for responding.  I can't tell whether it is still happening as now I can't login to webmail at all in my either of my usernames. 

Error code ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server.
Query: LOGOUT

What address are you using?

Can you try webmail.plus.net, (and try basic webmail if issues persist) and webmail.greenby.com .

Thanks Tony, it seems both accounts work in the webmail.greenby.com address so presumably both have been migrated?  

For the avoidance of doubt, the webmail.plus.net no longer works with my logins.

Customers are going to need an email advising them at the time of change and which webmail service to access.

Peter,

Is that for a secondary mailbox using the email address as the user credentials?  As a mitigation use account+mailbox as the userID.

I have this issue raised with @plusnettony ... as we 'speak'.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

@Townman  I have done so much messing to get this sorted that I am struggling to remember all I did but I did notice that before I was locked off plus.net webmail it wouldn't accept my email address for login, and only worked using just my username. 

However I now see that plusnet regard my email as username@username.f9.co.uk whereas I have always used peter@username.f9.co.uk

(peter is not my username)

Don't know if this helps at all.

Just checking in to say all is well again for me now on my XXXX@XXXX.plus.com account.

Email quick on both Outlook 365 and webmail.

Still having issues, sometimes it syncs fine and somethime it doesn't.
I can't seem to find a pattern to it, just really annoying!

mine seems to be working most of the time..it alway rejects first sign in attemt and some days it seems to freeze when trying to show inbox which as they have said things may be slow.still ocasionall fails to work at all..not a techie so just have to put up with it till the migration
