Email Migration

Perhaps I'm being a bit paranoid but reading the various posts on the email migration to Greenby there seems to a number of problems with the move.

Has anyone had their email migrated without any problems?

Re: Email Migration

Trouble with the email migration - NO KIDDING!  Since being notified of this switch to Greenby, my email access has gone between SLOW and STOP!    If this is how this 'service' is going to be going forward - good job I have an alternative email addy which I'm more than happy to use if this has to be the case.

Re: Email Migration

Having a metronet address I was one of the first to be migrated, on 2nd October. It went fairly smoothly, just a couple of fairly minor glitches which were sorted out in a few days (usually after some back-and-forth with the Greenby bot. The ongoing problem is with the spam filters. With Plusnet I had virtually no spam, and AFAIK never lost a genuine email to spam. Now large amounts of spam getting through the filters (16 in the last week), and 1 or 2 genuine emails a day going to the spam folder on Roundcube. At one stage my reporting of the spam to report@phishing.gov.uk was being bounced back to me by Greenby as itself spam: this latter seems to have been stopped. I almost always have to enter my credentials twice in order to log in to Greenby, but that's a minor irritation.

Re: Email Migration

Correction: my post above should have said that I was migrated on 2nd September, not October.

Re: Email Migration

At least you know why the email isn't working. I have had no notification that I have been migrated, yet I still have missing emails, everything from July backwards. I have ticket details in there for next week that I need to access.
All I'm am being told is wait and see if it sorts itself out.
