E-mail problems and don't know what to do!

Hi! Hope you are well. Apologies - it won't let me reply to the post about you changing e-mails over. I don't log in very often to my Plusnet account as I am not all that keen on it. I logged in today and it said that my account is partly closed as I don't use it all that much and it's going over to a new e-mail provider. I rang Plusnet to get it re-stored and they said I had migrated over already and it is not closed at all. I can still log in through Plusnet. I have had no confirmation e-mails and Greenby web-mail will not let me log in as it doesn't recognise me. I have tried to use Greenby chat - I am still waiting and waiting as AI cannot do it. I've now given up as cannot stay on my P.C all day.

I am aware Ive spelt Greenbee wrong, I don't know how to edit! lol... It's Greenby! **Re-edit** found the edit button!

Which email brand are you using?

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Hi Townman

Thank you for your reply and help. 😊 I am still using Plusnet e-mail at the moment. The lady on the phone said I was migrated over to greenby. I cannot get on to greenby.

@Mazzy  ,  @Townman  Will confirm but I think the 'lady on the phone' is mistaken - no  plus.com addresses have been moved to Greenby yet.

If you are using a you@account.plus.com email address, then unequivocally you have NOT moved.  Front line advice is flawed.

The only context in which there is a non-use communication is where a mailbox has not been accessed for 90 days.  In such circumstanced the mailbox is archived and an email to that effect is left therein.  Mail content can be restore within 30 days.  Such requests need to be raised on the mailbox archive restore thread.  Be sure to mention that this is a non-use archive, as the records of such archives are different to the FUP archives.

 

@James_B - can the quality of advice from the CSC please be reviewed.
