At the bottom of the ticket, there should be a "I need to add more information" link.
As for deleting LOTS of emails...
Culling mailbox contents
If you need to clean out your mailbox, may be because it is over quota, then as well as tidying up the inbox, you need to also look at the SENT ITEMS folder and then afterwards clear out the TRASH folder. However some times webmail performance can make this process very tedious, particularly if the delete action (actually a move to the trash folder) fails.
If you primarily want to delete emails, you can mitigate delete performance issues by doing an "immediate" delete (rather than a move to trash for deletion later) by holding down the SHIFT key when pressing the DEL key. This works in both webmail and most PC based email clients. WARNING SHIFT+DEL is not recoverable so be certain absolutely, that you do not need the email before pressing the buttons!
Alternatively, in webmail (Round Cube) Settings -> Server Settings there are some options worth exploring controlling how deletes are performed...
- Flag the message for deletion instead of delete
- If moving messages to "Deleted Items" fails, permanently delete them
- Compact Inbox on logout
Setting these options and using them together will avoid the over heads of moving items to the trash folder when you wish to delete them. They will simply be greyed out and remain in the inbox list. After logging out of webmail, they will then be removed from the mailbox.
Whilst this might be highly proficient, it needs to be used with care, for when they are gone, they are gone. Note also that Plusnet house-keeping clears out the trash folder weekly.

A big thank you for the advice.
Due to the vast numbers, I still get various server errors and disconnects from the mail server on the webmail even using the flag and logout method if trying to flag a second page of emails.
Best I can reliably manage is approximately 100 without error.
The whole process of flagging, logging out and back in again takes a minute or two as the process is slow and clunky.
I really don't have the patience to do this 1500 times!!!!!!
Still, it was better than the 2 or 3 I was managing to do before getting an error!!!!!
As for the ticket, the link from the email takes me to this page, if I click the blue back link it just reloads the same page.

Well, I finally managed to empty the default plusnet email account.
I downloaded Thunderbird, set up the unused email account as POP3, download and delete all emails. It chugged away for around 6 hours and emptied the inbox. Yay!
Now, if Plusnet could reinstate my ability to send an email from any of my mailboxes that would be progress.
Oh, and perhaps get a handle on the up tick in spam at the moment.
I kind of get the impression I'm being pushed into using a different email platform entirely.

Well, I feel like absolutely nothing is being done about my problem.
Plusnet have not contacted me once in regard to this, or other, issues.
When I check my raised tickets in relation to this, every single one of them is closed out.
I'm sure it didn't work that way in the past.
I seem to recall, on the occasions I needed help, the ticket stayed open and there was a dialogue between myself and support until the problem was resolved.
Is this the way the system now works?
All tickets are marked as closed wether resolved or not?
I can see why I've had no information/contact from Plusnet as there's no actual problem as all tickets are closed......

Can you please review how these specific issues are being handed off from the team please? @Leanne_T has made several touches, but she might not be getting the feedback she needs to fulfil expectations set here.
This thread is to marshal examples of an issue, which IIRC @plusnettony requested to be passed into the business.

Hi @Townman,
With this one it should just be a case of raising a ticket to support to check for and remove any blacklisting at our end.
Unfortunately support closed the original ticket in error when they replied to us asking for more info. We've opened a new ticket and supplied the requested information so it should be successful this time.

@James_B It would seem that support managed to close ALL tickets regarding this and related tickets in 'error'
I opened a complaint ticket about the problem on 06/11/2025, this has managed to stay active, and hasn't been closed out yet.
I've had the complaints department phone me 3 times, a nice touch but ultimately doesn't seem to help things along any quicker.
The problem still is on going and shows no sign of resolution.
@Townman The only way I can send an email is by using a smtp relay service - if I set my outgoing servers to use brevo.com - my emails from the non working account send straight away.
Also, if I create a new mailbox in my Plusnet account, this will send and receive properly.

One needs to be very precise about this issue: this thread relates to the specific issue of not being able to send associated with sender blacklisted by policy condition.
There are other scenarios covered by other threads,
@darrenbeddoes - using other outgoing servers is simply asking for more problems... it is not a solution.
@James_B - can you please revisit the requested review?

I'm aware that using another server doesn't solve the problem; but it's useful to know I can get an email sent from the address if needed.
I was told today, by the complaints team, that my email doesn't appear on a/the blacklist and, effectively, they don't know as yet what or where the problem is.

I've checked in with the team and they can see a call is scheduled to give you an update today.
As it has been confirmed that blacklisting isn't the root cause, further investigation is required.
