Hi guys,
I've also noticed that when in a topic you click 'quote' on a post you get...
An Error Has Occurred!
Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.
If you then click the link to the post itself (i.e. Reply#7) it then works as it should. I've added this to the internal problem.

If it makes any difference (which I doubt), at this moment the PC I'm using has Firefox 3.6.23 with fully up to date 'Add-ons'

For the past few days I have been getting a "session timed out " message when posting on this site.
It's a simple matter to resend the post again but what might be causing this ?  (Never had it before)

I just got a timed out then a:-

But the latter was 'cause someone moved it before I could answer it

No session times outs all day yesterday, but it's just happened to me this morning.

I have been working on different machines today and had random occurrences of both the timeout and session verification messages, although when the errors occur they are not as persistent in failing as it was perhaps two or three days ago - but it is still a problem !

It's making moderating more difficult for me as when all unread posts disappear I have to resort to 'Click here to try all unread topics' and when that's empty and I know there are unread posts....  
Ah well...nobody said life was meant to be easy

As Bob posted earlier in this thread we do have a problem open on this and are investigating. Unfortunately we've not found the cause yet but we will make sure to keep you posted.

As an aside - I am having no problems posting or moderating - so is there something different about my connection/computer or are the Gods for once smiling on me
Windows 7 64 bit, Firefox 7.0.1 with Adblock Plus and Kaspersky Anti Banner running I also have Stylish running to change all the horrible formatting on this site
