@JonoH - noticed you were about, so thought I'd ask. Has the pop-up advice of replies been killed again? I have a number of subscribed  threads, but I only see the notifications in the feed when I refresh the page.

No, it should be working fine. I'll keep an eye out to see if I get one. I'm off this week though so won't be around as much as normal

It certainly isn't for me, @JonoH , I've just had four replies to subscriptions - not one has resulted in a 'toaster'
