A winner has been drawn for the prize. However we need to ensure they are happy for their name posting before we can announce it here.

Moderators Note.

I've removed several posts on this thread that added nothing and were tantamount to trolling.
If there is nothing constructive to say, I'd suggest leaving it.

Well a week on and no visibility or publicity on the effectiveness of the Competition.  I guess it was all just Advertising and nobody actually won anything.  Ah well!  Time to move on?

Maurice.. this answered the question, there was a winner drawn but may have declined to have their name announced here.

The TV is on the way to the winning customer. We'll hopefully be able to post a picture when it's received.

Crikey you need permission to post someones forum username? - The data protection act again no doubt.. even though it only applies to personally identifiable information.

It's not like we're going to hack our ISP and go round and rob the lucky gits is it.

I mean it's not like you can look at my username and decide i live in 7up street, 7up town, 7up county, isle of 7up.... if i won i wouldn't be bothered by PN posting about it using my forum name. Besides most companies rule that by taking part you agree to their publicity. I can't understand the fuss about protecting the customer to be honest... unless the winner doesn't actually exist. It wouldn't be the first time thats happened... look at the BBC being exposed for falsifying winners years ago... and even Robot Wars was known for it - we met (at college) some of the entrants.. and they openly told us the real winners were edited to be losers!

Funny old world..

I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

I can't understand the fuss about an anonymous competition winner....if that's the case.

I have far more important things to worry about at the moment, the EU referendum being just one of them.
