When will the winner be chosen ?

Who won the plusnet compo.

That would be plusnet.

Failing that it will be a new customer as they don't like giving anything away to veteran customers.

The competition results cannot be revealed on the forum during to data protection rules.  Plusnet do not answer competition queries by email so you'll need to ring the Competition Results team to ask if you've won or not... Wink

Note that the Live Chat staff haven't been trained on the competition process so they can't answer any questions regarding this promotion.

I doubt whether data protection rules would apply, as our anonymous "forum names" mean that we are all here incognito, and there is no public information that could reveal who any of us really are.

I can't see the harm in a forum competition announcing -

The winner of the forum competition is "Nibiru" edit "AndyBaker(Plusnet CEO) Shocked

You were all quick to ask. The winner will be drawn at random, and it's being drawn today.

This competition was for anyone who signed-in to this new forum before the competition deadline.

The forum stats say that there are a total of 37572 forum members, but that figure must include all the members of the old forum who have not yet logged-in to the new forum - and therefore don't qualify for this competition.

Just how many forum members HAVE signed-in to this new forum ?.

Huh

Can we go to random and watch the draw live? Or do we need a ticket?

Let us be optimistic and hope that it isn't being run by the 'Cashback' promotions team - or it will be weeks before they validate the response?  Angel

Maybe there's a live stream we can watch?

Come on, you know 'tickets' have been banned replaced by live chatGrin

I wonder who's drawing it.

I assume plusnet will get some outside company to do the draw as avoiding responsibility seems to be the flavour of the month.

I think they booked Openreach (who we all know are unbiased) but the appointment got cancelled and nobody was informed. Evil

Do you think for all of us that have signed up to the new forum, that we will start to receive SPAM emails for competitions from the other side of the world, sent to out email addresses which have only been used to sign-up specifically to this forum ?
