Smilies and Java

is the machine at PN having a hickup or is it that the Sender hasnt got Java, but recently I am getting a lot of postings where it has got the script but not the smilie i.e. ":d" instead of  Grin and  in several cases the complete"jav-jav" sentance

Smileyhappens when you don`t put a space after the smiley Smileylike this one Grinand this one  Roll eyes  but this one should be ok  Roll eyes

More than likely someone's either dragged the icon to the text area or copied the Link location and pasted it in to the text box.

- someone must of keyed it instead of clicking the wink icon.
Edit: Sorry for anyone that saw the false starts I had trouble stopping it being changed to the icon.

;-) isn't defined as a smiley on these forums... but if enough people are using it to be a problem, I believe it's a 30 second job to fix in the Admin panel.
