Retirement

I announced this to the other moderators a couple of weeks back. (And Jim before he joined us.)
After careful consideration, I have decided to step down and retire as a moderator.
This has been coming for some time now, but I have to admit to no longer having either the time or patience to continue moderating.
For the past few weeks I have been taking a back seat, and helping Jim to settle in.
I will still be hanging round the forums, and a member of the link:pug
If you are interested in volunteering as a moderator please PM one of the remaining moderators (Daniel Roger Barry) with a short text (no more than 8 lines) explaining why you think that you  would make a good forum moderator, as there are plans to run another set of elections in the new year.

Thanks for all the fish.

Re: Retirement

Sorry to see that you are stepping down but I appreciate these jobs are not meant to "last forever".  Thanks for all your work for the Community Forum and all the help that you've given Forum Members, both as a Moderator and in your previous "private" capacity! Smiley

Chillypenguin
Thank you for a great job, well done.
I know many people enjoy this forum and that would not be possible with the contribution of you and your fellow mods.
Have a long and happy retirement.

Re: Retirement

I've enjoyed and learned a lot from the forums since boarding the Good Ship PN in July, due in no small part to your excellent moderating.
All the best in your retirement Chilly.

Re: Retirement

Well, what can I say, other than thanks for all your efforts Jonathan. Your help in running the forums and the switchover from the old phpBB to SMF was invaluable.
