Post notification raised before post released from spam filter

Received notification of a post to a topic I'm following. Clicked the notification and could not find the post. Checked poster's details and found out it was their first post. I guess the post is being held in the spam prevention system.

In such circumstances should the post notification really be published prior to the post being released from the spam filter?

@Townman

It could also be that they hadn't yet verified their email address.

Re: Post notification raised before post released from spam filter

That would probably be correct @Mav. I have Lithium looking into stopping notifications going out for unverified users posting in subscribed boards.

Probably the same notification I received @Townman and @Mav is absolutely correct Smiley
