Possible Error - new topics - please check

I went to my usual New Topics page and on it was this one https://community.plus.net/t5/General-Chat/EXIF-tag-info-in-an-iPad-image-file/m-p/1326986#M200972 but not the moved topic

Is it possible that you had read the original topic and would not show up in the unread topic list? I marked both the original and moved topics as 'new' for my user and they both show up in the list.

Re: Possible Error - new topics - please check

I didn't read it before

I think you are missing the point as I hadn't read it before as far as I am aware

If a new post is made and before a user visits the forum it is moved by a moderator the post notifying of the move is listed but the moved post isn't

Re: Possible Error - new topics - please check

Just seen an incidence where both were in unread topics but the difference was that the moved post had new replies so nothing proved either way

Okay thanks @Oldjim. I have made a note and I will keep my eye on this behaviour.
