New feature ?....... Remove Post

Just posted, in Internet Event Calendar and noticed an additional feature...

Remove Post

But...... Not on this post !!
Is it Forum specific ?
ie Internet Event Calendar ?
If so, can we have it on other Forums too please ?

You have no idea the problems a feature like that can cause Lips_are_sealed

Re: New feature....... Remove Post, about time !!

It saves people going back removing posts which would render other replies to that post confusing.
Many forums also only allow editing of posts for a certain amount of time after posting for the same reason.

Re: New feature ?....... Remove Post

Does it matter though that the topic has continuity? There is no law that requires forums not to have deleted posts.
I gotta say, I think PlusComUK is onto something myself.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Why not allow deletion within 5 minutes of posting, say?

Why not take more care and consideration when posting ?
There should be no need to delete any post, other than under exceptional circumstances by the moderators.
