after reading a thread at bottom of page there is a link to go back to the sub forum you are reading , But if i want to go back to forum start i have to go to top of page to find the link ? , is it not possible to have a link at bottom as in main forum ?Huh

The back button on phone only goes back one page to what you just read Not the forum start , or i am i missing something obvious

Re: Moblies ?

Hi guys,

I got the notification but have been distracted by some other work that has been needing to be done.

You are correct, the breadcrumb gets condensed down as there isn't much room. What I could do is bring back the homepage link on the breadcrumb but with a 'home' icon that is clickable for mobile devices. That should make it a bit easier to navigate back to the homepage from the bottom of the page.

I have made a note on my enhancement list to look into this.

Re: Moblies ?

Fix

I have had a time gap to do something on our staging site with this. Here is a screenshot:

That should make it easier for smaller screens to get back to the homepage via the breadcrumb.

Re: Moblies ?

Thanks for the postive 'thanks' on my solution. This will be in the next update to the community (date TBC right now). I will communicate the release date as soon as I know it.

Many thanks,

Jack

Jam tomorrow eh!

@jaread83 The home link now works Thumbs_Up

Just one quibble , it takes you to the PN home page , not the start of the forum could this be changed ?

@rongtw   I'll support that Smiley  I never knowingly select the Community home page.

Re: Moblies ?

That's the link that exists on the breadcrumb unfortunately and I am unable to change it.

Re: Moblies ?

Actually, the forum is part of the breadcrumb (sorry). Let me fix that up and will report back in a bit.

Re: Moblies ?

just been doing a bit of experimentation and it needs a bit more thought going into it as there are already standard media queries on the other breadcrumb items which are hiding them all away.

I will need to look at a more solid fix for this so this couldn't be patched up quickly I'm afraid.
