Forum Search (Request)

I usually do a quick search before posting about an issue that is likely to be already covered but I do find this very 'hit and miss'.
I have a request based on this:  Could the forum search please either include a feature to filter by date (newest first) or default to this kind of behaviour.
If this request is in the wrong place then please feel free to move it.
