I don't have a problem with the pink/purple, if anything it is quite unique and distinctive.
I find the white background helpful for illuminating my laptop keyboard so I can type with the lights switched off.

I agree with purleigh, I think the existing colours are fine   As Jim said when they were changed it caused a lot of controversy . Leave well alone IMO.

Garish is a polite way of describing it

Exactly how colours appear will depend on your monitor / display and how adjusted or "correctly calibrated" it is (or more likely isn't).

My first thought on coming here was 'oh, this is just like the BE forum'. Not so unique then.

I think the issue is that all the Stationery, signage at PN towers, etc would all need changing as well as the website. probably wont be considered unless PN change their name!
Thats another pet hate of mine, companies such a British Gas changing their name to Centrica. I used to work for Mowlem now I have a Carrillion Pension
