Can't paste into the post composition window on mobile?

Anyone else able to replicate this issue? Using Firefox on Android and long pressing next to the cursor in the text editor doesn't give me any option to paste (it does nothing) Huh

Re: Can't paste into the post composition window on mobile?

This is being tested on a Nexus 7 with android 6.0.1, but using Chrome rather than Firefox. Long-pressing at the end of the sentence seems to do nothing. However a brief tap gives a marker blob then brief tapping again gives just the paste option. Tapping that works.

iOS Safari on iPhone 6 - single tap gives me the paste option.

Works fine on a 6P and android N. Behaving exactly as I'd expect.

Re: Can't paste into the post composition window on mobile?

Perhaps you could try with Firefox now @ScottStorey? Tongue

Edit: Turns out both Chrome and Firefox do allow pasting on my Nexus 6 running Android N (see attached). My original post was using Android M on a Nexus 7 (2013) tablet. Note that tablet layout uses the rich text composition window, whereas mobiles use plain text.

I guess in order to try replicating the issue, you're going to need to use an Android tablet with a similar viewport (7").

Re: Can't paste into the post composition window on mobile?

This could certainly be Viewport dependent but I'm getting some odd results, ok in landscape but not in portrait.
I need to experiment more, but can't do until tonight.
