Hi.

Tried uploading a avatar, rejected due to wrong format - png.

What format is allowed? Could not find any info in the search box.

That's odd. png format is allowed, that's what mine is.

I'll have a look in to this further and get back to you.

EDIT: I've just tried on a test account and it allowed me to upload a .png file as my Avatar.

Do you mind me asking, what size is the file that you're trying to upload?

Can you try attaching it to a reply in this thread? We'll see if we can replicate the issue with the same image.

I've managed to upload that to my test account with no problems

However, if it is still giving you problems, an alternative (Now you've posted it on the thread) would be to select the option to chose an image from your uploaded images:

HarryB has uploaded same image and published.

Same image , but by whatever means of uploaded results wrong format,  please see Plusnet.png image a printscan.

I presume that I am making a fundamental error but I'm damned if I know what.

I took the liberty of saving your attachment and attempting to upload the image myself to your profile without any issue.
