I have just logged into the member centres for the 2 accounts to activate static IP and check the line speeds,

Re: Business Fibre Problem

Hi kgk86,
I've just had a quick review of the accounts and can confirm that both are showing their respective phone numbers in the CLI field of the account so there seems to be no problem there!
Can I check exactly where you're seeing the same number for each account? A screenshot would be good if possible and I'll take a deeper look into this A screenshot raised on a support ticket  would help if possible   Wink
Thanks,

That's good news  Smiley
I just wanted to make sure it wasn't going to bite me on the a$$ when I drive down there next week  Wink
I did check on a different browser to make sure it wasn't a cache problem.
Screenshots are in a zip archive on ticket 86555035
Thanks  Smiley

Re: Business Fibre Problem

Thanks Kyle,
I can see on the screenshots that you're correct in seeing both the same CLI, exchange and speed estimate from the member centre of both accounts however a second review of the accounts on our side show the correct info so I'm not 100% sure on what's happening there!
Any chance you could try testing each account in turn and clearing the cookies before login? I'm hoping that this is the culprit!  Grin

Re: Business Fibre Problem

Yeah, already done that,
I used porn mode Wink incognito mode and inprivate as well as clearing browser cookies and I've tried on a different machine that is not linked to my main one (no cross-machine browser accounts)
The first account I logged into (bgpbrookside) is the one that has the incorrect CLI, I hadn't even logged into bgpchalfont when I noticed the problem.
Well as long as it's not causing a problem with the actual connection I'm not that fussed, must be a glitch in The Matrix  Grin
OOI, what is the current line speed on bgpbrookside, I'm expecting about 40mb

Re: Business Fibre Problem

Thanks Kyle  Grin
I've had a word with one of the other DCT members and another possibility could be the caching of line check details when the account signed up if this was done on the same machine and close together.
I've now run a new line check on the one you've logged as being incorrect (bgpbrookside) and hopefully this will have fixed the problem for you!

Let me know if this has brought you any joy.

Re: Business Fibre Problem

Looks good,
Estimated 30mb, current line speed 78mb  Cheesy
(I'll see if that's correct next week  ;))
Thanks for that, now I'll check on the other once once it's installed tomorrow  Wink
Thanks for your help  Cool

Good stuff!
Glad we ended up fathoming it out, give us a nudge if you need anything more when you check the second.

Hi Acassim,
Could you work your magic on the bgpwinersh account please  Wink
It also has the CLI of the other line on the 'High Speed Broadband' tab

Re: Business Fibre Problem

Morning Kyle,
That should be done for you now if you could give it a quick check?

Thanks,

Re: Business Fibre Problem

Excellent thanks  Smiley
On a side note, I had a 300 mile round trip last night because the BTOR engineer screwed up the install and cut off the existing extensions at one of  the installs (bgpchalfont) leaving the surgery unable to take card payments or send\receive important NHS faxes.  Undecided

Re: Business Fibre Problem

Hi Kyle,
Glad to hear the trick fixed the details for that account!
Sorry to hear that the engineer disconnected the extension thought, this is normally only done if the extension is poorly fitted or causing a lot of interference on the line. Did they provide any explanation as to why this was done?

Thanks,
Adam C

Re: Business Fibre Problem

No, his parting words to the girls on reception were, "you need a new socket" then left.
I panicked then thinking he hadn't bothered fitting a faceplate, got them to send a picture and he had, so I was a bit  Huh
Ringing in to the number gave an engaged tone, and there was no dial tone when I tried to remotely assist them.
When I got there and removed the faceplate to expose the test socket, the pair for the extension line were both punched into terminal 2  Shocked

Re: Business Fibre Problem

Really sorry to hear that!
Has this been rectified now? If not then it could be worth speaking to our support team to log this and see if BTO will look to rectify it.

Re: Business Fibre Problem

Yeah I've sorted it
They couldn't be without their card machine! (Private practice  ;D) So I drove down last night and fixed it
