Can anyone else access raspberrypi.org?
Everything else on the internet is fine for me, but I can't get to the one site I need this evening.
It can be reached on my (non-PlusNet) phone and http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/raspberrypi.org.html says that the site is up and reachable.
Fixed! Go to the fix.

It's up and running for me.

Thanks for trying.
It's weird, but every device connected to my router cannot see that site. All other sites are fine.
Does anyone know why one particular site would stop working on a broadband connection? Has my IP been banned or something?
If I turn off wi-fi and connect my phone to my EE 4G connection, it's fine. But I want to download updates on my ethernet only Raspberry Pi (v1).

Oh. Just restarted my router and it's working now.
Weird.

Plusnet's DNS servers seem to have some issue with it:
$ dig @212.159.6.9 raspberrypi.org ; <<>> DiG 9.11.3-RedHat-9.11.3-6.fc28 <<>> @212.159.6.9 raspberrypi.org ; (1 server found) ;; global options: +cmd ;; Got answer: ;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: SERVFAIL, id: 52887 ;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 0, AUTHORITY: 0, ADDITIONAL: 0 ;; QUESTION SECTION: ;raspberrypi.org. Other DNS servers seem OK with it:
$ dig @8.8.4.4 raspberrypi.org ; <<>> DiG 9.11.3-RedHat-9.11.3-6.fc28 <<>> @8.8.4.4 raspberrypi.org ; (1 server found) ;; global options: +cmd ;; Got answer: ;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 16148 ;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 2, AUTHORITY: 0, ADDITIONAL: 0 ;; QUESTION SECTION: ;raspberrypi.org. Yup - it's not accessible any more. Thanks PlusNet!
Rebooting the rooter didn't help this time - it must have been a coincidence.
I suppose I'll try a different DNS server then.

I've switched to OpenDNS, and it works now.
Looks like PlusNet's DNS servers are at fault. First time I've ever experienced this.

Definitely something that needs a bit of digging (no pun intended). Will see if I can get somebody to take a look...

We kicked the DNS caches yesterday so I'm hoping this is resolved now? Seems to be from where I'm sat:
~ $ dig raspberrypi.org @212.159.6.10 ; <<>> DiG 9.9.5-9+deb8u13-Raspbian <<>> raspberrypi.org @212.159.6.10 ;; global options: +cmd ;; Got answer: ;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 10911 ;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 2, AUTHORITY: 0, ADDITIONAL: 1 ;; OPT PSEUDOSECTION: ; EDNS: version: 0, flags:; udp: 4096 ;; QUESTION SECTION: ;raspberrypi.org. Yes - it seems to be working now (I have switched back to the PlusNet DNS servers).
Thanks for sorting it out!
