intermittent speed

any help with intermittent speed please.Started a few days a  go..I have done the basics,reset etc.

Bt hub,plusnet broadband

Same set up for a few years.

OK. I assume the broadband is FTTC? Why a BT hub?

Without some data/information to work with, I can only suggest you follow this : https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/ , although I am not 100% sure it will work with a non-PN router.

what does it matter if its a bt hub? its always been a bt hub. im not getting the broadband speed that is in the contract! so i cancel it?

It possibly doesn't matter - I don't know, as I indicated, but have you tried the link I posted? If you cancel without giving PN a chance to help you, you will be subject to Early Termination Charges and delays in signing up with another ISP, as well as the very real risk that the fault will follow you.
