Hi.
Do these stats look about right ?
Protocol: G.DMT2+ Annex A
Downstream Rate: 19257 kbps
Upstream Rate: 446 kbps
Channel: Fast
Current Noise Margin: 8.0 dB (Downstream) 30.8 dB (Upstream)
Current Attenuation: 4.3 dB (Downstream) 3.8 dB (Upstream)
Current Output Power: 11.1 dBm (Downstream) 11.8 dBm (Upstream)
DSLAM Vendor Information: Country: {0xB5} Vendor: {IFTN} Specific: {0x7982}
PVC Info: 0/38
I am a bit surprised at the low output power given that I do not have a full synch.
Cheers..

You should ask for the upstream speed to be uncapped

The OP's power is reduced because they are so close to the exchange.
The do not need the power at that distance.
Less power means less cross talk in the cable between adjacent lines (perhaps 200 lines+ per cable)
This means that those much further away can actually receive any broadband at all as the OP with their short line is not "drowning out" the signals for those poor sods much further away.
So all those close to the exchange have reduced powers - to alieviate the dire situation for those 4 km+ away.
With that attenuation I'd guess the OP is in the flat above the exchange!
