change of address question

how long does it take to set up a new address ready for broadband (moving my current address to my new one)
how much notice should i give so i don't suffer any down time.

Hi Peter,
Ideally it would be good if you could give us about 2 weeks notice and get a simultaneous reprovide code from BT for the move of your telephone line.  Hopefully that should ensure that your phone and broadband are moved on the same day.
Failing that, reprovision orders take 5 working days to complete.
