Re: Usenet still up the spout after upgrades.

Mine isn't fixed.
I was asked about various Windows stuff - all their array of virus checkers, firewalls etc.

@axisofevil, I'll take a look at your account now.
Edit: It's already in the allowed list so you should be able to get access. From wht I can see there's nothing wrong with your account Huh

Re: Usenet still up the spout after upgrades.

You shouldn't have any problems following this. Make sure you're connecting via the PlusNet network (not RIN) and make sure your client is *not* configured to connect with a username and password.

Re: Usenet still up the spout after upgrades.

Since the big blackout I've been unable to access uk.music.folk. Does anyone have a suggestion -- I'vde tried logging off and on again with n o joy. It's irritating as I moved to this ISP because it had good newsgroup access.

Re: Usenet still up the spout after upgrades.

Is that a PN or RIN IP Jelv? A decision has been made not to add any more RIN netblocks to the allowed lists due to the fact that the trial's effectively over.

RIN - I've now switched to a block that works - it took a few goes!
