Just wondering why downloads are throttled during the day. Surely there is little demand fron gamers and other priority services until early evening?

Business users wouldn't be too chuffed if the network slowed down during the day!

I work from home and wasn't too chuffed to wait 90 minutes for a file download but this was at about 11am when I started, at a time when the Max speed is 2MB. Unfortunately I only get 2.2MB max at the off peak times. In fact, business users appear to be even more adversely affected for downloads but fine if they want to play games or watch Youtube so that's a waste of time for me also:(

Hi there,
Residential products are managed during the day to protect the network for business users.
Business products have better speeds for file downloads, FTP etc, but are managed more heavily on P2P and such like.
